International recruitment

White Cross Healthcare operates eight urgent care clinics in Auckland and one in Whangarei and one in Palmerston North.

Urgent care medicine is a combination of urgent care general practice and emergency department work. While we are able to manage a wide range of accident and urgent medical conditions within the clinic setting, more serious conditions are referred to public hospitals.

Currently we have a shortage of experienced primary care doctors and we are recruiting from New Zealand and overseas.

We are recruiting currently for short (6 months) and long term (12 month plus) positions. Doctors work between 20–40 hours per week, and a mixture of days evenings and weekend remuneration is based on an hourly rate.

At White Cross Healthcare staff are dealing directly with their employer. We are not an agency. Most of our overseas doctors have found this beneficial as they are being assisted by the same person and there are no surprises when they arrive.

White Cross offers:

  • commitment to quality patient care
  • career advancement opportunities
  • competitive remuneration
  • continuing medical education
  • work alongside like-minded professionals in a supportive environment
  • comprehensive induction.

NOW is an exciting time to join White Cross.
